Hoeveel personen kunnen er overnachten?
Er zijn twee slaapgebouwen beschikbaar, waar naar schatting 50 personen in kunnen overnachten. Daarnaast is het ook mogelijk om in zelf meegebrachte tenten te slapen op het terrein. Helaas is het niet toegestaan om in het houten hoofdgebouw te slapen, dit in verband met brandveiligheid.
Kan ik ook bij jullie terecht voor mijn (kinder)feest, receptie of jubileum?
Helaas, onze gebouwen en terreinen zijn bedoeld voor jeugd- en jongeren activiteiten. Wij verhuren ook niet aan studentenverenigingen. Voor feesten, recepties of andere activiteiten biedt de horeca van Zandvoort voldoende mogelijkheden.
Zijn er (veld)bedden of matrassen te huur?
Je dient zelf voor slaapspullen zoals een veldbed, slaapmatje of matras te zorgen. Er zijn geen veldbedden of matrassen aanwezig die gehuurd kunnen worden.
Is er kookgerei aanwezig?
Er zijn ruim voldoende pannen, borden, mokken, bekers en bestek aanwezig. Deze zijn bij de huur inbegrepen. Wel adviseren wij om specifiek keukengerei zelf mee te nemen. denk daarbij aan een kaasschaaf, appelboor en dergelijke.
Mag ik een vuurtje stoken in de kampvuurkuil?
Wanneer de weersomstandigheden het toelaten, mag je gerust een vuurtje stoken. Kijk hiervoor op de website https://www.natuurbrandrisico.nl. Wanneer er voor regio Kennemerland fase 2 wordt afgegeven, is stoken niet toegestaan. Je dient zelf voor stookhout te zorgen. Het vuur mag niet hoger dan je middel komen. Laat het vuur nooit onbeheerd achter en zorg ervoor dat er altijd blusmiddelen binnen handbereik zijn.
Waar kan ik mijn auto parkeren?
Sinds 1 juli moet je in heel Zandvoort betaald parkeren. Algemene informatie hierover vind je op de Parkeren in Zandvoort website. Sinds kort is het ook mogelijk om bij het scoutinggebouw te parkeren met de blauwe schijf. Je mag dan maximaal 4 uur staan. Deze parkeerplaatsen hebben een blauwe lijn. Moet je langer dan 4 uur parkeren, dan zijn er voor onze huurders maximaal 5 parkeervergunningen beschikbaar. Deze vergunning is alleen geldig voor gebied Nieuw Noord. Vanuit de verhuurder ontvang je na de huurovereenkomst meer informatie hierover. Mocht je deze informatie nog niet hebben, stuur dan een mail naar verhuur@thebuffalos.nl.

How many people can stay overnight?
There are two dormitories available, which can accommodate an estimated 50 people. In addition, it is also possible to sleep in your own tents on the site. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to sleep in the wooden main building, due to fire safety.
Can I also contact you for my (children’s) party, reception or anniversary?
Unfortunately, our buildings and grounds are intended for youth activities. We also do not rent to student associations. Zandvoort’s catering industry offers plenty of options for parties, receptions or other activities.
Can I rent sleeping beds or matrasses?
You have to bring your own sleep materials. There are no sleeping beds or matrasses avaible to rent.
Are there cooking utensils available?
There are more than enough pans, plates, mugs, cups and cutlery available. These are included in the rent. We do, however, recommend that you bring specific kitchen utensils with you. think of a cheese slicer, apple corer and so on.
Can I make a campfire?
Please check the website https://www.natuurbrandrisico.nl to see if it is allowed to make a fire. Search for ‘Zandvoort’ on the map. You will see a star with a number 1 or 2, and a text about Kennemerland, the area Zandvoort is part of. There are two fases:
– 1 star: fire in the campfire pit is allowed
– 2 star: fire is NOT allowed
The site is updated daily by the national fire department. Check this site every time you make a fire. Never leave the fire unattended and make sure you have extinguishing agents within reach.
Where can I park my car?
Since 1 July, you have to pay for parking throughout Zandvoort. General information can be found on the Parking in Zandvoort website. Recently it is also possible to park at the scouting building with the blue disc. You can then stand for a maximum of 4 hours. These parking spaces have a blue line. If you have to park for more than 4 hours, a maximum of 5 parking permits are available for our tenants. This permit is only for the Nieuw Noord area.
